Description
Wild rice is actually a seed, harvested from aquatic grass that grows similarly to rice. It was traditionally grown and harvested by native americans with a stronger flavour and chewy texture, it takes longer to cook than other rices. Wild rice is great in salads, with curries and soups, desserts or ground into flour.
