Cooking Arborio Rice on the Stovetop:
Begin by bringing two cups of water to a boil, then add one cup of Arborio rice and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Stir until the water returns to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 20 minutes, or until the rice has absorbed all the water.
Using a Slow Cooker:
1 1/4 cups of Arborio Rice, 4 cups of broth (or water), and 1 spoonful of extra virgin olive oil are all combined in a slow cooker. For 2 to 2 1/2 hours, cook at a high temperature.
