Description
Activated almonds are soaked to break down the enzyme inhibitors and then dried in low heat to ensure the nutrients are not destroyed. Apart from making the nut more easily digested, activated almonds are crunchier and lighter than raw almonds but can be used in the same ways. They are great for eating as a snack, adding to mueslis, salads and making almond milk, almond butter or almond meal.
