FAQ’s
Are your products certified organic?
Yes, all products that are labelled ‘organic’ are certified organic. We don’t add certified to the name, but we make sure to only purchase certified organic products from our suppliers.
We do stock some non-organic products, so this only applies to products with ‘organic’ in the name.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to ship your order within 1-2 business days, and then any delivery timeframes will be added depending on your location. If there are any delays in shipping your order, we will let you know and give you an updated timeframe.
Can I click and collect from your store?
You sure can. Just make sure to select local pick up at check out and we will notify you when it is ready to be collected.
Can I bring my own jars or containers to shop instore?
Absolutely! We love it when you bring your own containers. You are welcome to bring glass or plastic containers, whatever you have at home. We will weigh them instore before you fill them, so please bring them to the counter first. If you are bringing bottles for liquids, we just need to know how much it holds in millilitres. If you are unsure, we can measure it when you bring it in.
Is your completely packaging plastic free?
Yes! All of the packaging we use for both our online and instore products are completely plastic free. We use paper bags in-store (and occasionally for our packing our online orders) and for online we use either PLA corn starch lined paper bags or clear snap lock bags that are both certified home compostable.
We like to reuse shipping boxes and filler packaging from orders we receive, and will supplement the boxes with our own if we don’t have the appropriate size.
If you receive any plastic in your order, it will be something we received and are re-using to give it more life, but this happens very rarely.
Do you guarantee any chocolates I order will not melt?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your chocolates won’t melt during transit. We do everything we can (if we have any materials handy) to keep your chocolates cool, but especially in summer it is at your risk. We cannot accept any responsibility for melted chocolates. We may in some cases hold your order and ship it on a Monday (if ordered later in the week) so that your order won’t sit in a hot warehouse for the weekend. We will do our absolute best to make sure they get to you in their original condition.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping for local customers on orders over $80 for postcodes 2256 & 2257.
At this time we don’t offer free shipping for the wider community. This is because we try to keep our product costs as affordable as we can and don’t want to build shipping costs into the cost of our products.
We have multiple carrier options at checkout so that we can keep the shipping costs as low as possible for you.
The product I want is out of stock, when will it be back?
If you need a specific timeframe on when a product will be back in stock, feel free to contact us and we will do out best to update you.
Do you offer large quantities of your products?
We have allowed the option to purchase the maximum quantity we have in stock, however if you want a larger quantity than what is showing online (sometimes there are slight discrepancies), feel free to call or email us to double check. Is Pure Bulk Foods a franchise?
No we are an independently owned store. We started from scratch and curated our products to help our local and wider community access organic and healthy foods, low tox products and find the best plastic free alternatives. If there is anything you would love us to stock, that we don’t currently have, please let us know!
Do you offer wholesale rates?
We have an offering for business to purchase from us at a discounted rate, but we are not a wholesaler. We do not have specific wholesale rates but if you are a business who would like to purchase from us, please get in contact at [email protected].
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of our store and products, we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with the state of your product upon receiving it, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
