HOW TO USE
Simply begin by wetting the hair. Work up a lather in your hands and apply a small amount to your scalp. Continue to lather into the ends, then rinse and repeat. It is particularly important to only use a small amount, given our shampoo bars contain a higher concentration of oils compared to commercial shampoos, which are watered-down greatly.
For those of you using The ANSC shampoo bars for the first time, you may find your hair heavy and rich in oils to begin with. There is a detox phase with our products. Standard liquid shampoos contain a high number of chemicals and heavy detergents which completely strip your hair of its natural oils. So, your hair will need a little time to get used to the natural plant oils used in our shampoo bars.
Once you?ve made that transition, you will notice an increase in the softness, shine and overall health of your hair ? you?ll also find you won?t have to wash your hair as often! It prevents tangling, too.
Saponified coconut oil, saponified sweet almond oil, saponified grapeseed oil, saponified olive oil, petitgrain oil, patchouli oil & mandarin oil.
It is recommend keeping your soap out of water as much as possible. These soaps are rich in plant oils, which will react to water ? that?s what gives it their cleaning properties. Unnecessary exposure to water will mean the soap will be used up more quickly. The same goes for if the soap is left in a steamy, unventilated shower.
It is best kept on a soap holder, like the reclaimed wood soap holder, and keep away from steam and dripping taps when not in use!
