This organic pearled barley has been lightly polished to remove part or all of the germ and bran, leaving just the ‘pearl’ inside. Pearled barley cooks faster than hulled barley. With a chewy texture and nutty flavour, barley is a delicious grain that can be used in a variety of dishes and as a rice substitute. It is perfect for adding flavour, fibre and texture to soups, salads and more.
