Description
Organic panela sugar, also known as rapadura sugar, is made from sugar cane grown organically in South America. It retains its colour and nutritional value due to minimal processing. Panela sugar can be substituted one for one with cane and brown sugars in any recipe requiring a sweetener. It is great for baking cakes, cookies, muffins, raw desserts and makes a delicious toffee due to its rich caramel flavour.
