Description
Hulled hemp seeds have been approved for consumption in Australia since 2017 but have been consumed by people all over the world for centuries. Hemp seeds are an excellent source of protein, omega fatty acids, fibre and vitamins and minerals.
They have a subtle nutty flavour and creamy texture and are perfect in raw treats, smoothie bowls, salads, smoothies or make your own hemp mylk by blending with water.
Hemp Mylk Recipe..
(makes 1 litre)
1 cup hemp seeds
4 cups filtered water
1 medjool date (optional)
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend for 30 seconds.
If you want an extra smooth mylk, pour the mylk into a nut milk bag and squeeze out all of the water.
Pour your milk into a bottle and store in the fridge. Milk will last 3-5 days.
(Make sure your nut milk bag is a natural material so you aren’t adding microplastics to your milk. We have organic cotton nut milk bags, have a look at them here)
