Simple Seedy Crackers

Ingredients

– 1 1/2 cups sunflower seed kernels
– 1/2 cup linseeds
– 1/2 cup raw buckwheat
– 1/4 cup chia seeds
– 2 tabs sesame seeds (white and/or black)
– 1/2-1 tsp celtic salt
– 1 1/2 cups warm water

Add in a sprinkle of chilli flakes, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, dried herbs and spices. The flavour combinations are endless.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C or 140C fan forced.
  2. Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until water has been absorbed.
  3. Line 2 baking trays with silicone sheets or baking paper. Press the mix firmly onto each tray in an even layer, making sure there are no holes. You can choose how thin you want your crackers to be. Score the top surface to make them easier to break when cooked. Bake for 50-60 mins or until crisp. Allow to cool before breaking into pieces and enjoy these crackers with dips, avocado, nut butter etc.
